In the video below a lesson on 'money' is explained in a visual way by the teachers of the third year. Together with the students a mind map is made so that the students can use mental images to memorize the goals. Next, the goals are articulated so that students get a picture to determine where they want to go and, based on that, to plan how to get there. After this, the pupils are given the choice to decide for themselves which working method they want to use for the acquisition of the material: an instruction video, shopping, listening to the teacher or doing the exercises in the book right away. In other words, students can use certain strategies to perform a task. Task strategies that are discussed with students during the performance and reflection phases.
