Anquan Boldin 49ers working on an extension
After a successful debut season after a solid debut season, the 49ers and Madden 23 coins Anquan Boldin are currently discussing an agreement in order to retain the receiver at San Francisco. The 33-year-old Boldin was a target for 85 passes and 1.179 yards in the 2017 season after having been acquired through an offseason trade. Jason Hurley of Niners Nation took a look at comparable agreements and proposed a possible framework for an extension:
If I were who was negotiating, I would seek the 3-year agreement, which is worth $18 million, and a $6.5 million in signing bonuses. I believe that this agreement is fair for both the 49ers and Boldin.
Louis Delmas takes a free agent visit to Pittsburgh
After being released by Detroit this week, Louis Delmas can get an early jump on free agency and is free to sign up right now. Delmas took advantage of the head start by taking a trip to visit The Pittsburgh Steelers. Injuries plagued Delmas in the beginning of his career, but he was able to play all 16 games during the season. Still, his contract was too expensive for the Lions who saved $6.5 million in salary cap space by getting him out.
Neal Coolong of Behind the Steel Curtain wrote Delmas could be a suitable replacement in place of Ryan Clark, who is a pending free agent.
Clark may still be able to play in Clark's role in madden 23 coins buy should he get an opportunity. Delmas, who was a cap casualty in Detroit, appears to have more velocity in his legs. This could prove to be an excellent addition to a team that is also considering the potential loss of long-time veteran Will Allen.
Even though the Lions dropped him, Detroit is reportedly interested in re-signing Delmas to a cheaper contract.
